Keeping a record of your browsers' profiles is always a good idea, as this information (bookmarks, saved passwords, messages, etc.) might prove to be useful at some point. Programs like KLS Mail Backup assist you with this task by allowing you to back up the profiles of any web browser installed on your PC.
In order to be able to use the application, you will need to register on the homepage of the developer, which is a time-consuming aspect that could have been removed, if you ask me. KLS Mail Backup supports backing up the profiles and the embedded mail data from most popular Internet browsers (Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, etc.) and email clients (Windows Mail, Postbox, etc.). You can select the profiles you want to back up and easily configure the copy settings according to your needs.
A relevant aspect of using this backup utility is that it doesn't take long to create the archives for the stored information and they only consume a small amount of space on your hard drive.
There were other two small things I didn't like about this tool, besides the time-consuming registration: I didn't have access to a built-in help guide and I could back up the information only to ZIP files.
